In a fresh push to stay competitive, Meta Platforms — the company behind Facebook — has rolled out a new programme aimed at attracting content creators from platforms like TikTok and YouTube.

The initiative, called Creator Fast Track, offers eligible creators up to $3,000 every month as an incentive to grow and stay active on Facebook. It is specifically targeted at creators who already have strong followings elsewhere.

Punch Newspaper reported that the programme will also provide creators with tools and support to help them build and monetise their content more effectively on the platform.

Daily Star Nigeria gathered that this move is part of Meta’s broader plan to reclaim its dominance in the content space, especially as TikTok and YouTube continue to lead in short-form videos and creator engagement.

With money on the table and added support, many believe this could tempt creators to shift focus — potentially bringing more users and attention back to Facebook.
